As from 29 August 2024, the CSCP have a new Learning Management System, provided by Virtual College.
This has replaced the previous council's learning platform which ceased in June 2024.
The following generic training courses are available for you to undertake:
- Level 1 Safeguarding Children and Young People
- Level 2 Safeguarding Children
- Child Exploitation and Extra Familial Harm
- Understanding the Impact of Domestic Abuse
- Radicalisation and Extremism (Prevent)
- Safer Recruitment

If you were signed up to the previous learning platform, your account no longer exists.

The CSCP will carryout robust monitoring of the use of the Learning Management System and we ask all users to ensure they complete selected courses within a four week period.
As this is a new learning system, we may encounter teething problems. Therefore, please highlight any issues to the CSCP by email.
