Safeguarding Responsibilities, Thresholds and Referral Procedures (Children)

This course is designed to help participants understand safeguarding responsibilities, thresholds and referral procedures.  

You will need to have completed Level 2 Safeguarding Children (eLearning), please note although called Level 2 this is the basic safeguarding children eLearning course. To access the basic Level 2 eLearning course click here

This course is suitable for those detailed in the CSCP Training Framework groups

By the end of this course you will:

• be able to demonstrate understanding of responsibilities to safeguard children
• be able to identify the threshold criteria of different levels of intervention and the referral process
• be able to identify the reasons for changes in legislation and policy
• be able to apply new learning in respect of the lessons of Serious Case Reviews and the impact of them upon practice
• write an action plan based upon reflective thinking
